How Do You Want It All To Feel?

February 7th, 2012 by Jill

This is the BURNING QUESTION Danielle Laporte asks on the first of her new series ~ The Burning Questions Series! and it was exactly what I needed to read, and feel this morning.

I had been stepping back last week to get a sense of how I was 'feeling' about my life and my newfound career.  I was asking myself the same questions ~ how was I feeling? How do I want other people to feel? How do I get my message across so that people really 'feel' it?

And then this post came out this morning. As you are aware from following me you always get a video first thing monday morning and I know that some of you have come to expect that and look forward to starting your week off with a bit of food for thought,  a little introspection, a little let me take a look at that in my life, kinda way.

And I will continue to do that ~ don't worry!  But I want this to be an evolving relationship where we both grow.  And when I feel a growth spurt (as I did this past week), I had to take some time and look at it, stand up against that doorframe and measure how much I grew!

Because If I'm not sharing my growth with you all, in addition to ~ my insights and been there, let me help you through that part of your journey ~ how real will it be for you, or for me?

Today I am answering Danielle's first burning question !

How do you want it all to feel?

But in my fashion.

in a video.

check it out.

Now, I want you to answer the burning question for yourself ! How do you want it all to feel?

I want you to write it down and place it somewhere that you can look at it every day – over your desk, inside your vanity cabinet in the bathroom, on your refridgerator, wherever you will see it often and get in touch with those feelings and take them with you on your daily journey.

I also want you to share them with this community, post them below in the comments section and let's get a 'feeling-fest' started.  The good vibes will flow and everyone will be adding their love to the soup!

Peace & Burning Questions

think I’m finally learning how to ride him ~ even if I haven’t broken him in all the way quite yet!

Hi Jill – love you!!! I think if we have a preconceived idea of how it “should” feel then it is lost. Trying to control it will result in loosing the moment. The mystery and excitement is the unknown.
I wrote the above before I saw that you had a video. I love your visualizations, the passion and excitement that comes with it. I think if I allow my creativity, love and passion to flow through me I will get the best results possible for that given moment. That in itself is my goal and answer to each of your questions. I will trust that it will be my best and where I need to be at that moment.

Hi Gina!! So true! we need to let the love and passion flow through all we do and we will always love the results ~ no matter what they are!

      Thanks for stopping by!

      xx

No video–I have a cold and no one wants to see that!

I want to feel improbable, beautiful and afraid of nothing, clearly, since I just had that tattooed on my arm!
I want my writing to feel like it flows from a place of truth and wonder.
I want my words to be shimmering gold.
I want my heart to feel spring-day open and clean and new and joyful, flowers springing up, green leaves.
I want my friendships to feel like gathering around an antique table, strong and with a beautiful grain, sharing freely the best of our pantries and our hearts.
I want my enthusiasm to be like a well of stars, complete with a wonderful solid wooden bucket so I can dip in for me as I deep, and endless, so that I can share.
I want my faith to feel like when I lean back, a beam of the warmest armber light supports me.
I want my body to feel cat-like, strong, subtle, and a little fierce.
I want my successes to feel like the multiverse saying yes, yes! YES YES MORE YES
I want my challenges to feel like a well met adversary, all throwing down of the soft leather gauntlet and ritual unsheathing of weapons, knowing I am well-armed, well prepared and that this will be, at the end of the day, a damn good time and a later source of a good story over a single malt.
I want my mind to be in a constant balance of calm, elated, and just a teeny bit scared in a good way, the kind of scared that comes with laughing with excitement at the adventure ahead.

Brava!! The multiverse wants this all for you! (cold and all)! please believe that.
You already are all these things, honor that, relish that, swim around in it a bit ~ let it soak into you!
